How I fell in love with 6 kids?


Here's is the story about one of my most memorable journeys. I went to Kanyakumari to work on a Tamil feature film. The idea was to detach myself from my love but actually I got attached to 6 kids.

Vella Panni is a Tamil feature film and it was my first experience to work in a feature film. I was given the role of an administrator and also as Director’s Assistant. I made lists, did some coordination and management and later on took care of the 6 leading artists who were kids woking in the movie. This was my first experience of working with the kids.


When I told my mom that I am taking care of six kids, she was surprised. I was a person who could hardly spend 10 minutes with children. But, situation changes and we also change. I loved and enjoyed loving and playing with the kids. I miss them.


The kid who played the role of Krishna was the naughtiest of all. He hardly listened to anyone. I will always remember how he opened a packet of surf excel, threw it, some even on my foot and I could do nothing. I actually started fighting with him and he made fun of me and ran away. And, I observed that Shiva and Hanuman started scolding Krishna because of his behaviour with me. Lakshmi and Parvathi (the two girls) were best of all. They listened all the time and knew how to behave. And, how can I forget Murugan, the son of our driver Raghu. He made me love him. I actually cherish the time spent with all these 6 kids. I hope to meet them again when they grow big.
