TRAUMA, HORROR, NIGHTMARE Whatever you call....Its really scary

I was cutting some bytes of the survivors of building collapse accident at Lakshmi Nagar, Delhi. The visuals very terrific. People sleeping on the barren ground with no shelter above them. These men, women and kids were living a descent livelihood two days back. But collapse of the 5 storeyed building accompanying around 100 people, most of whom died under the debris has brought distress and grief in the life of many. But the trauma doesn't end here. Even those who have survived are pleading for money to perform the last rites of their loved ones. Government apathy is unending.....

My Ideas to Repress Corruption

Corruption is a virus swiftly reaching the roots. It’s a menace, which has entrapped almost all sections of the society. From Peon till CEO, everyone shares a cherry of the cake. Eradicating this menace is a tough but possible task. I belief technological advancement is the best way to curb corruption. Five years back, all government data was to be registered in paper files and folders. Ten years from now, everything would be memory card and chips. So, if all administrative policies will be formulated, adopted and implemented via computer systems, it would be very difficult for a crook to cheat. One can enter bogus data in paper, but it’s hard to fool the computer machine. Unlike others, this is not an utopian idea. Technology has modified man’s way of living. If we notice recent changes, we will find that schemes like e-governance have brought tremendous improvement. Right to Information Act is another great strength that the common man has access to. Public awareness about thi...

My First Lecture on My 22nd Birthday

I went to my Graduation college Institute for Excellence in Higher Education to meet my Professors. But to my surprise, I got the golden chance to deliver lecture in my Alma Mater. And with God's grace, this dream of mine was fulfilled just 1 year after I passed out from my Institute. My address was on Media: Way Ahead to Make an Impact ...         I didn't make any preparations for my lecture and spoke what ever amused me about the field of Journalism. All the students were listening with attention. It was a wonderful experience. To add cherry on the cake, I received Rs.500 just for addressing for 1/2 hour. That was amazing! I believe those who give guest lectures must be earning a lot if they are paid in this manner.         Before my lecture, I was introduced by one of my favorite teacher Khare sir...I also received thanks giving by one of my junior Astha who used such good words for me, which I suppose I didn't ...

Kashmir Azadi: An Utopian idea

Demand for Azadi is an utopian idea. Separatist leaders of Kashmir who are demanding Azadi are not being practical. Don't they know once they are freed from Indian subcontinent, the superpowers of the world including powerless Pakistan will leave no stone unturned to capture the 'beautiful prison'? Mirwaiz, Mufti, Geelani and others are just trying to get their share of power. There is no one to think for common man...if someone tries to make so, he/she is subdued forever....Its an appeal to Kashmiris, I mean the aam adami..not to resort to violence, they have been doing so since past 63 years and have earned nothing except death of their dear ones....So until and unless the leaders think beyond their self interest...nothing can be done....I understand that the common man's agony as I have met some of the Kashmiris...And if you think logically violence and stone pelting will lead to no solution...so stop violence. Please for the sake of your own kith and kin.....
